If that is the original output stage it was either a Super Bass or JTM/45-100 which explain the Sovtek 5881’s

I will try to do a iPhone clips this weekend and maybe the LARRY too. Gonna order a setup for proper recording too.

I have a SM58. Can I use that instead of SM57?

clips are going awful with my phone. Gonna get some new equipment.

You should be able to get something decent with just your iPhone. I usually find a spot to stand where I like the tone most, then put the phone somewhere close to where my ears are. Maybe 5-10 feet back from the cab, and to the left/right about 1-3 feet maybe. 5-6 feet up off the ground. That’s just me though.

If you want so spend a little money, the Apogee HypeMic plugs right into your iPhone and sounds great for many uses- room recordings included. Can get one off eBay for like $130-150
