Hi folks..
Just got myself a Diezel VH-4 ..( second hand ..one previous owner ) been looking forward to this amp for a long time..got it last week
straight out of the box plugged it in ..( leaving it to warm up first .. ) i checked the back for tube faults ..no lights ..!!
then tried the clean channel ...sounded cool ..moving thru the channels i started to hear what i can only describe as a white noise type sound
on channel 2 ....more noticeable on 3 +4...
( like when a lead is broken..! the sound you get when you move it around..hope that makes sense .! )
... i know they are more overdriven but it was nearly as loud as the guitar sound !! ..
Any help would be appreciated ..!!

cheers.

Welcome to the board

I´m sure there are one or more bad tubes.

Please see attachment.

Hi Peter... really appreciate your reply ...thank you ...!
Would any UK guitar shop who do amp repairs
have someone who will be able to do all the work i would need ..ie ..tubes replaced and bias reset.?
Cant wait to crank this beast on stage .!! and what tubes would you recommend i put in ..
if i wanted a Randy Rhoads type sound .!! ( for the tribute band i'm in )

Kind Regards

Please see attachment for the tubes.
