Yea!!!

One idea: maybe it's my shitty soundstick speakers or it's the mix, it seems to me like the guitar drowns out pretty much everything else - not that there is anything wrong with that :D

Dude!!!

That first track took my PLEASANTLY by surprise right around the 1:01 mark onwards. Awesome groove - and out of the three, this one sounded the best for tone.

I loved that surprise little groove, man...!!

What volume you mic'ing the cab at for this first clip? Where you placing your mic and was this the G12K speaker?

Nicely done!

Thanks Mo for encouraging words :)

The channel volume was about 9.00 and master 8.30.

Mic was placed about as shown in picture but not quite so close to the speakers and thru the canvas.

There is two guitar tracks in the mix. Another track was recorded using G12K100 speaker (panned 100% right) and another was recorder using V30 (panned 100 left).

I know there is a bit too much gain in the game but this is the beginning of the learnig process.

I'm impressed with the oomph you got at such a low volume level... Nicely done.

Ya, that catchy little throwdown halfway through took me by surprise and I liked it a lot.

I like the G12K speakers for recording the most. V30s are great for jammin', playin', giggin'... What do you think - any preferences?

Cheers,
Uncle
