I have to find a tech, but here they not know Diezel…..

The Engl does not fit the phantom power with other pin layouts.
But has nothing to do with the insert issue.

Where are you located ?

I try to connect the pins differently

It works:
pins only 2 wires connected (midi)
no + or -

footswitch external feed with 9v adapter.
