Diezel VH4s doeasn't change channel by midi

Hi, I have a Diezel VH4s made in 2001, after some months in off don't change anymore channel with my midi controller Yamaha MFC06.
I check controller midi, cable midi and OK. I open head and with tester i see that a battery of 3,6v lithium is empty.
Is it possible battery cause midi no change? What about other test i will can do?

Check that your amp and your controller are set to the same midi channel.
 
I check my head to receive in OMNI o SINGLE MODE midi, but nothing.
I think there is a problem in head, or that battery off.
Peter help me?
Tonight I will test another battery.
 
OK i resolve resetting all midi, but when i off head and on i must resetting
 
Hi Peter, the Head don't remember my midi settings, when i turn off it forgot all.
