Don't see why not... should sound pretty awesome in fact. I have no personal experience using one with my Herbert, but maybe others will chime in.

ive been reading some killer reviews and its not like buying just another cab for me its a new design......plus they look cool to boot!

In your search you were mentioning the added cost of road cases. be forewarned the port city cabinets NEED roadcases. thin tolex, no metal corners.

no tolex holds up.......wonder why other cabs dont do what red star does , that spray coating on them..

just come & play my Diezels already.... and you will be in heaven!!! :D

thanks pauly, I tried my diezels at the studio in wyoming thru a mesa 4x12 recto, it was awesome, love the tone... but im really interested in this portcity 4x12, its in a league of its own.

ps how was the rev theory show? my wife was there n saw you guys, she was pu tix for american sixgun show, we are doing this sat.

i meant the cabs...LOL. let me know how u like the Port Citys.

Rev Theory was great. Great show. good reaction. i hate their guitar tone...along with about 98% of the bands out there in our genre.

Good luck on Sat!! Rock it LOUD!!!!

Yes, enjoying 2x Port City 2x12" OS cabs with Celestion V30s. Im using one for VH4 and another for Mako amplification MAK2. Playing mainly metal with 7 and 8 string guitars.

The high pressure systems (which is what we use) are very expensive to apply in both terms of material costs and spray systems/hardware, and are complicated to apply from a labor perspective - you need someone who really knows what they're doing. The low pressure systems are cheaper and easier but have poor (or usually average at best) cosmetics. Tolex is a fraction of the cost in both cases.
