Difference between Black Eye and Hairy Brown Eye

I am working on trading a stock Grail MTS module for a Mr Scary to get either the Black Eye or HBE done to it.

What are the tonal differences between the two? Now that I am thinking of it, can the Grail be turned into either?
 
Well I have a stock Scary inbound and also a Plexi modded to HBE inbound as well. Which one will stay or will they be different enough to justify keeping both? Time will tell!

Along with my modded Brahma, I think that I will have the Marshall thing covered.
