Different version of the JJ? Different rear panels?

Hey guys, I just noticed something after looking at the rear panel of my early production JJ and some of the others I see on the Internet. The impedance selector is to the right of the speaker jacks and the line out to the left of the speaker jacks on mine and on some of the other it's reversed.. Why the change in the layout of the rear panel? I'm curious.

Guessing related to the changes across the Friedman line. See the link below for Dave's answer for the same question on the BE100. Must be related to the new boards and DC heaters

Think they changed this long time ago. BE100 has the similar change. I wish mine was like the new cause once I plugged my speaker cable into the line out cause the jacks were so close. This makes it easier to not plug speaker cable into wrong jack. But Dave can fill in why the change, I don't know.

I've had that happen before! I bought these to plug all the unused jacks on all my gear to reduce the risk of that happening on dark stages, or after a few adult beverages! Keeps dust and dirt out too!

Sorry, end of thread hi-jack......

It makes more sense where it is now with where the transformer is mounted. Just shorter path and also what was said about the line out.
