Digitech RP Question

I have a RP500 and am trying to use the Expression pedal with the Ya Ya effect. I can't seem to get it to control the effect. Tried scrolling through the parameters for the expression pedal and don't see Ya Ya. Ideally I'd like it so I click the pedal (like turning on wah) to activate but would settle for anything. Anyone know how to do this?

Have you tried using the X-Edit? You can find it on mustbebeta.com.

I use that for my 1101, instead of trying to plow through menus on the actual box.

I got it working with the expression pedal. Have to set it to "pedal" to control Ya Ya. Still can't get it to work with clicking (like wah). From googling doesn't look like you can change the wah to anything else. But I should try using x-Edit.

Not sure about clicking it on like the wah but you can assign it to one of the foot switches to turn it on and off.
