Probably my favorite DiMarzio.

I have it in a few guitars now.

Cool...I think I might try it in my Tyler. There's a Dimarzio EJ in the neck right now and I love it (after a little height adjusting that is).

What can you compare it to? Seems like a lot of people say it's similar to a JB.

Supposedly it is Larry's take on Andy's favorite JB equipped guitar. I am terrible at trying to describe sound, but I think it is less "hit or miss" than the JB.

I have it in a couple of Charvels (Alder), and in a hard Ash Ibanez.

I feel like the JB works best in dense wood, where it can be too bright in others. The AT seems to work equally as well in all that I have tried.

sounds weak in my music man but good in other guitars

I've got this pickup in the bridge position of an alder warmoth soloist. It's tremendous. New Dimarzios are just fantastic.

I have one in my Charvel So Cal (alder) that replaced the original ToneZone. I love it. I'd been trying to get a Strat to sound like my LP which has a JB in the bridge. The AT-1 got me there and now I like it even better. It definitely has a JBish quality but it's a little smoother and more open. One of Dimarzio's best, IMHO.

Definitely an awesome pickup, I have a couple of them in alder Charvels. It's like you took a TZ and got rid of all the bad points and cleaned it up a hair.
