I grabbed one of these on Reverb. Anyone have/had one? Thoughts?

Mid-heavy. Not a ton of low end, but it has all you need. Think PAF Pro with a ceramic magnet, except thicker sounding. Punchy, medim-hot output, definition. Really great pickups. I've only played them through a Peavey 6505, so I can't tell you how they perform for mid-gain sounds. With distortion, very cool.

I love them and have them in two guitars - one is a RG550, which is basswood, the other a RGA121, which is mahogany body-maple top. I like it better in the RGA121. Also, in the RGA the pups are body mounted (which probably has more to do with why I like them more in that particular guitar). The parallel/split on the two inner coils is fantastic sounding.
