Very cool rendition! What software are you using/recording for your guitar tone? Thanks
 
For the rhythm tones I used my iPad and Jamup, lead tones are toontrack EZmix2 and the metal guitar gods packs. Drums are superior and an Andy Sneap preset pack with metal foundry.

Anyone else lol? I mean I know I didn't do VH with an Axefx but I thought this tune might play in here heh.
 
Feedback fellas... any is better than none. I should note that this is the first clean singing Ive done in like 2 years and even tuned down this is a tall order.
 
I liked your rendition. You did the vocals too? Nice job. There seemed to be some 'stereo swirling' on the chorus parts but it didn't bother me. Quite liked it. I listened with just laptop speakers BTW. You covered the keys with guitar correct?

I did the vocals but my voice isn't what it used to be since I don't do a lot of clean singing these days. I have some chorus/swirling on the guitars in the pre chorus and I made sure they were low in the mix. Or are you talking about the vocals in the chorus part. I used a sort of washed out delay on the high harmony to give it a sort of background feel, it's a bit drawn out but I tried to make sure it was low in the mix as well so the wash wouldn't be overly present and thus annoying.
 
I enjoyed that. It's cool that you did something a little different too.

I also like that you put your money where your mouth is. There are lots of big talkers that never back it up at all on here. It's what sent this place downhill. So kudos for that.

I may do a lot of yapping and opinionated bitching haha but I don't talk myself up because I know I am only an average player. Thanks for the kind words though, it means a lot. I will post some more covers and some of my own stuff when I do some less heavy stuff that will play in here. Not a lot of love for death metal in here haha.
 
Very cool clip! I liked it a lot! Keep posting clips. That is what makes these forums worth it.
