sorry if this has been asked before, which of the kitchen sink controls (FAT,SAT,C45) use diode clipping, or is it just the HBE?

Dave, do you know if the Low Gain "Jose" Mark Cameron mods used something similar? I have a 50 watt '69 with a switch like a SAT but it's a little fuzzier, but does something similar. It's clearer with the switch OFF
