Just built myself a pedalboard patchbay.. It has 2 1/4" jacks for a send and return and a DC 2.1mm jack so I can connect my power supply. Do I need the grounds to be separate? Right now, all the grounds are "connected" because the jacks are all metal, and the housing is metal.. Should I buy plastic 2.1mm jacks for the DC power atleast?
