DIY Thiele cab build question

I've decided to build a Thiele cab for my 12L. I've got the plans and they seem straight forward enough. The one thing which has me wondering is how the internal braces/structure is held together. I've looked online at a bunch of DIY Thiele builds and I have yet to find one where I can see exactly how the internal structure is held together and affixed to the shell. It almost looks as though the internal structure of the cab is held together with only glue.

I'm wondering if anyone here has built a Thiele cab and can shed some light on how the internal structure of the build is actually held together and affixed to the outer shell.

The TL-806 plan says "glue and nails on all joints"

Glue and nails is the right way to do it.
All the Thieles I have built I use Franklin Tightbond and heavy guage brads.
You can drop if off a building and it will hold together.

I've done them several ways to see if there was a big difference.
I have done slot joints, finger joints, dovetail, and butt joints.
The internal framing I always do butt joints with coated screws and glue.
Always pre drill and countersink them.
After the internal frame is built, I usually just glue and brad nail it to the outer shell.
After the whole unit is constructed, I use marine silicone to guarantee a total seal.

I built a widebody version years ago to fit under my Mark IV widebody combo. We used wood screws and glue because we they were handy...I don't think it really matters as long as its a good joint.

I ended up buying a Mesa Thiele when I got rid of my combo for a short head (damn combo was heavy). In a direct comparison, my homemade version sounded exactly the same.

This is what im doing currently with my 2 806 cabs. Theyre almost finished.
