Yes, only people willing to buy McDonalds fries are concerned about $5/dozen eggs that were $1-1.50 a few months back. Fuck the small business restaurants and bakeries already dealing with astronomical increases in everything. Fuck them and fuck the peasants they cut paychecks to. Fuck their customers who have to pay more. Fuck the poor single mothers using it as a cheap source of protein for their children. Most of all fuck the Hen who will never see her little chick grow up to be pulled apart with machines and be served at McDonalds along with those fries.

A dozen eggs were $.69 a year ago at Aldi and they're $4.69 now...When we first bought this house my wife joked about getting chickens so we'd have fresh eggs all of the time and now I'm starting to think that's not a bad idea the way things are going.

A dozen eggs were $.69 a year ago at Aldi and they're $4.69 now...When we first bought this house my wife joked about getting chickens so we'd have fresh eggs all of the time and now I'm starting to think that's not a bad idea the way things are going.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm hurting yet, but the cost of living for myself, husband and two children has increased around $2k/month in the last 2 years. I absolutely cannot imagine how most families are making it. It's sad and malicious. The only people I can fathom not taking issue with it are those living off of their parents or the system. "Record job numbers," indeed. When people are needing 2 or 3 jobs to live, I guess that would cause a record.
