I have a TC G-System that sucks the life out of my Renegade. To cut a long story short GigRig sent me a Z cable to see if it would sort out my tone suck problem with my G-System.

What it does is fool your amp into thinking that just your guitar is plugged into the front of your amp and it works. The thing is GigRig are only making them in batches of 30 and when the Guitar Mags get them they are going to fly out. If you have tone suck get on over to GigRig, send them an e-mail and put your name down on one. I've put some more photos on my photobucket page for you and I'm trying to sort out a good video of it, but the sound I'm getting with my camera is dreadful.

As soon as I sort a vid out I'll let you know, I know just pics is no good, but you need to hear this thing, It's that good, If you have a Digi unit like me or a big FX board your going to want one and I think GigRig are going to struggle with the demand for them.

I just want to give you guys a head up about the Z Cable, the Egnater forum is the best forum I'm on....hope this helps.

Is the "tone sucking" happening between the guitar and the amp input or the loop connection? Check each individually.

Hi Mr E, The tone suck is coming out of my TC G-System before the input of the Renegade, warmth, gain and a bit of volume. I have one of your Loop Level Matcher's that has helped my noise levels, but it's the G-System that has the problem, not your amp.

I had some tone suck issues with a couple of pedals in the tweaker's loop, but haven't experienced any problems with the loop in my renegade, or any problems except for the reverb frazzle on the clean channel I had straightened out.
