This thing kicks ass.

So much diezel in this box.

I havent played the vh4 pedal but dont want to any more either haha.

Useful as an amp in a box. Useful as a distortion into a clean channel as crunch, med high gain, or leads.

Dialed it up as a fat boost and thinner like 808 also.

Could easily dial it in to “match” my diezel “channel 2’s”

12 volts, I wont bother trying 9.

Def for the hard rock and metal guys, not the mid gain rockers.

cool I ordered one after seeing your post, I haven't got it yet.

Cool, let me know what you think.

Start with the bass a noon and the highs at minimum. The eq is a little quirky. Ears not eyes.

Cutting both eq to min almost kills all ouptut.

Try setting the gain first and the level second as the gain level effects output.

I found my high end to be similar with the pedal at 7-8 oclock versus bypass. Bass was set between 10-12 o clock.

No matter what you read do NOT use 18 volts. MANY have died from 18 volts.

This just showed up about an hour ago,I will tell you for 34 bucks I'm impressed. I just bought it because it was 34 bucks.
It's True bypass and I can tell this will sound great through just about any amp. I made a quick little video clip with my phone.
I'm glad I picked one up, I haven't owned a DOD pedal in over 25 years.

Right! Not perfect bit for $34 man kicks ass. I found a lead boost setting that put my 808 to shame.

I got one also. I actually think it sounds really good, and I like the immediate attack it has. I just wish it had like 4x the gain. It is definitely not very high gain, and boosting it to get there gets pretty noisy.

I bought one recently and really like it. I actually sold my Dirty Shirley pedal because I liked this more for my particular application. My BE-OD still takes care of the higher gain stuff. I like the gunslinger more for leads though.
