Does a KE2 take a dive like a Gibson Explorer?

Explorers always felt neck heavy like I had to hold up the neck/headstock so it wouldnt take a dive.
Is the KE2 the same way?

Yeah, a Kelly dives too, and some guys reposition the strap pin to get around it.

This. A Kelly will dive just like a normal explorer. You can move the strap pin and use a heavy strap to compensate.

I can't say that I remember my old explorer ever being neck heavy.

Some of you guys are high!

Explorer shouldn't move at all!

Maybe if you're one of the knuckleheads who moves the strap pin?

My custom shop Kelly had a lil dive until I bought a anthology gear wear strap. They're made from saddle grade leather, so they form to you're shoulder over time. That stopped the diving after a while.

Yup!..... All my Kelly's did except for my San Dimas era ones. I didn't notice it as much on my Explorer's except on my E2. I did a little but nothing as bad as the first runs of the Bernie Rico Jr. Vixens!! Wow. You couldn't keep those things anywhere close to a standing playing position.

I've never had to re locate a strap button. I simply picked up a nice 3" wide leather strap and it pretty much stopped all nose diving. Even with my Kelly's.

Ok....if I find sweet KE2 i'm buying it. Sounds like all I need is a good leather strap.
