does anyone know anything about marshall ecc83 and ARS tubes

ive got 3 marshall ecc83 and 1 ARS 12ax7 preamp tubes.. does anyone have any info on these tubes.. are they any good.. are they chinese,or something else..and what do you guys put in your PI slot???? thanks

the ecc83 is basically a 12ax7 just called that in other parts of the world, ARS is a Tube dealer if I'm not mistaken - I think they supply the tubes for CAA/Suhr... like Groove Tubes, they don't make the tubes - only way to know if they are good (besides looking to make sure they're not burnt up is to plug them in and play. Some cheaper preamp tubes sound better than tubes twice the price
