ABY box/pedal? Or would that be ABCDY? Whatever. I see RJM makes one to switch between two heads and is midi controllable. But I want to controll 4 inputs.

Any input would be great.

I already own the Egnater SS4 and works great for running 4 heads through the same cabs. Now I want soemthing to switch between 4 heads that each have there own cab.................but has to be MIDI.

Or..............can I just use the front of the SS4 to achieve the same thing? I just thought of that. Maybe it would work? Just using the inputs.

Disregard this because I want to have the ability to run all the amps at the same time, The SS4 does not have that ability. :bash: :bash:

Mesa high gain amp switcher. A little hard to find but killer with Jensen iso'd transformers.

You will have ground loops galore to control and some phasing issues to figure out. Keep in mind, each head will need to have a cab for load. A Mesa switcher is the only one I know. The ISO transformers in a GCX are shit for two amps, much less 4. A Bradshaw 4x4 will do it and has good isolation. Still, there will be grounding and phase problems. Or, has something custom built. You can always see if Friedman or LASD would build something.

CAE amplifier switcher.

1 input, 4 amp outputs, can use 1 cabinet for all four if you wanted.

I have this exact thing with the Egnater SS4. But thanks. I looked into the CAE before getting the Egnater.

Thanks for all the input guys.

Steve, I want it to work flawlessly without Phase/ground loop or any noise issues. I have been down this road and it's very frustrating.

I think a custom build may be the way to go for me. At least I could get everything I want that way.

Radial JX-44.

It doesn't have MIDI, but it has footswitches, so you could wire a custom cable that goes to the switching system in your rig, like an RJM Amp Gizmo, to get MIDI control.

If each have their own cab and you are simply controlling what goes to the input of each amp then the Axess GRX4.

Talk to Kyle Rhodes about that, he can build anything you want customizable to your specs.

This.

This is true, I can help. I have plans for a 4 head switcher with some extra features like MIDI and RCI (Rhodes Custom Interface) for seamless integration with my new line of floor controllers / loop switchers.
