Hi guys,

I´ve had this mid-nineties Custom Pro for a while, and I´ve always been curious about the names on the back. For whatever reason, probably by request, the builders involved all signed it. I´d hardly think about who built it if the signatures weren´t there, but since they are I´m thinking it would be funny to see if anyone knows them. The top name, Ulf Klenfeldt, is the buyer, and I suppose the third name might be Karl Sandoval?

Sorry for the pic being on the side, Photobucket is just truly awful and I don´t know why I use it anymore.

I worked at Valley Arts for a year in the mid-80s, don't recognize those names sorry.

Karl Sandoval is a name. Didn't he paint EVH's original Bumble Bee for Charvel? Or was that another guitar? There are photos of him with Ed.

Valley Arts had a big store in Cologne, Germany back in the 80s. It was about as big as a modern day Guitar Center, which was pretty uncommon in Germany back then. I went there once in 1988 and then all the time when I lived there around 91-92. I'm pretty sure I walked over to check it out around 10 yrs. ago, but can't recall what became of it. Anyway, point is there were probably plenty of Germans working for VA.

Yeah, I think Karl M. Sandoval built the polka dot Rhoads V. Not sure if that says Sandoval. Maybe.

Trying contacting chrisguitars.com - his tech guy (Martin?) used to work at Valley Arts..

Thanks guys! I seem to remember reading somewhere that Sandoval built the prototypes for the Samick Blues Saraceno model, which could be a clue since Samick owned VA at this point.
