Does Bob Bradshaw still do racks and pedal boards?

I remember hearing a few years ago he was behind schedule but then I hear he has built some rigs for celebrities in the last few years.

Is he still doing custom racks or is it just a artist only thing or is he retired now?

With all the options today with RJM and these huge switching stations available off the rack people don't really need an insane Bradshaw custom deal but I am seriously wondering what happened to Mr. Bradshaw.

He has moved to PA from LA. He still doesn't answer his phone or emails.

Didn't he screw some people over Steve?

I remember a while back on HRI there were a couple guys who left deposits with him and never heard back from him, pretty sure they're in one of my FB groups because I just saw it mentioned last week or so.

I thought I heard something. I vaguely remember Steve posting about a bad experience but I am not positive. Maybe Bob made things right if there were any misdealing as his website is updated 2017.

I thought John Suhr absorbed CAE. Wasn't Suhr building the CAE OD100 series amps?

Not quite. Suhrs OD100 was separate from Bobs.

Didn't this amp have bob's 3+se preamp?

John Suhr designed the preamp while work at CAE. I think Bob had close to nothing to do with it, other than it being made under his company name. John Suhr also developed a number of mods for it after leaving CAE. The different OD100 heads also saw different versions and revisions while being made by John Suhr. I don't know if Suhr still makes the OD100, but the model names on the CAE website are the same as some of the John Suhr versions. Maybe he gave up on the OD100 line and gave Bob permission to build some of his versions?

Gotcha. Yeah, I looked earlier and wondered why these amps aren't in the Suhr product line anymore. I thought they were still making these amps but with the new chassis like Pete Thorn's latest amp.

The OD100SE was on Suhr's website last I checked (probably haven't been there since last year). They even listed the OD100 Classic version too.

Okay, just went over to the Suhr website now - very different from how I remember it looking. Looks like there was a redesign within the last year or so.

This was one thing I never understood is CAE owned by Suhr or Bob or both?

Also which model is which? Like which amp is the Suhr version vs. the Bob version.

Reminds me of the Bill Lawrence pickups fiasco.

CAE is all Bob. Suhr worked for him, and designed some of the amps.

Bob's new shop is 10 mins from me. Still building rigs for people.

Is there a reliable way to make contact with him that you know of??

Bump one more time to see if someone might have the information to answer my question.

Don't do business with him! There were threads here 3,4 maybe 5 years back how he was ripping people off with down payments and no deliveries. I'm too busy now, but google him and see what you find. From what I remember stay FAR away!

Edit. found it
