Does this seem sketchy to anyone else?

This is a message someone sent me on ebay about an amp I'm selling. I've never sold anything on ebay before, so if this is like those spam emails that come with CL listings I'll just delete it. I sent him an answer to an earlier question and this is the response. Thanks in advance.

OK, thanks! One more question - I see that you only ship within the States ... myself I'm not there now, but I have a warehouse and an agent in US, so if I pay the BIN XXXX, could I ask you to send that XXXX to my agent? Otherwise, sorry for bothering. Best regards

PS- I put those Xs in.

Yes, same old scam crap. Just don't respond, or you could mess with him a bit.

Ask where his warehouse is, and tell him - surprise- you live there!! You could drop it off asap, if he will give you the address.

+1000...go reverse Nigerian Scam on him, offer to pay him to take the amp from you, that you will send him a check for twice the amount - he just needs to cash it and send you the balance

I figured it was a scam or possibly scamola. I think I'll just leave him alone though.

Make him send you a picture of himself dressed up in tin-foil first.

Scammers should be hung from trees by their ears, covered in honey, and have bags of fire ants dumped on them. Or they should be dunked in a barrel full of cocks.

The "Warehouse" and "Agent" sounds kinda fishy, but I've sold many items on ebay to folks overseas that have the items shipped to friends/relatives in the US. IMO you should go with what your gut tells you, and FWIW I ALWAYS have non-US bidders agree to paypal-only and the payment must hit my bank account prior to shipping. Maybe I've been lucky, but in 165+ ebay transactions I've never been burnt selling to overseas customers.

I sold my Egnater to a guy in Poland though a local shipping agent. He wasn't very responsive to my e-mails, but he paid promptly and the transaction was pretty flawless.

How's his feedback?
