I agree completey. Doug with his old white Charvel and Doug on his white and his orange Jackson Soloists were BY FAR the coolest eras in Doug's career. His playing was better and his tone was better.

His wallet is fatter and his popularity is increased now and I wouldn't take that away from him because I wish him the best.

Even though I'm 90% mainly a Les Paul player, Doug's playing and tone on the Burning Rain albums is a million times better than what he's doing now. His tone on the new Whitesnake album is horrible, buzzy and has WAY too much bottom end
