i wish he could convince her to untuck her penis and retire.

Hm, Doug is an amazing player, but I wouldn't put him in the category excentric, where I'd see Gaga. Maybe John 5, Vai, Steve Stevens, all would have fit her more style wise. But it's just marketing, to make the product Gaga appealing for a broader target group. Same as Nuno with Rihanna.

It's a paycheck. I remember reading Schon say radio friendly Journey was his paycheck, and side projects were his fun.

say what you will .but Gaga is extremely talented.
I found new respect when she went accapella on howard stern just piano on edge of glory amazing performance.
I am sure she can rock if she wants to just like Fergie but the money is in pop.

I much prefer Halestorms version of bad romance though

she is talented for sure, but music seems to be just a mere facet of fame to her instead of her primary focus. she'd much rather turn heads with shocking style and overtly sexual imagery than her actual music.

She has mad skills. Just not in a genre that I dig. That is one of the things about this forum in particular that I like. We seem to be able to say something does not push our button but not slag it.

Would she? Then she might as well stop making music which she hasn't done. I don't like the style of music she chooses to play but she's got a great voice and blows away most of her peers

sorry guys, but i think THIS angle is the future of rock guitar.

bona fide guitar heros cashing in on their skills with world phenom artists, just like jennifer batten blazed that trail with MJ years ago.

Do any of you guys remember Cindy Lauper and Rick Derringer?

Wow, can't say I blame him for taking a sweet gig like that and who knows where it could lead. Her last song sounds like a bad shania twain song for generic modern country radio stations.

This is very wrong.

Good for him. That's awesome!

I agree. Lady Gaga is an amazing singer and has a real career. Being attached to someone of this caliber can be a huge shot in the arm for a guitarist. Big stuff. I've worked with Gaga's camp on a few projects, it is serious, intrenched and loaded. No fuckin around, big time music business. Very exciting.

Gaga is talented or sure.

I prefer Pink though. Great voice, tunes, vibe, & that killer guitar player dude!!
