They sound great but for me not $500 great.

People were paying more for used Tom Holmes pickups than when you bought straight from Tom a few years ago, not sure these will go that way. As good as they sound in the clips less expensive p/u's can compete. The Doyle connection to LP might sway some to purchase but not sure how large that market is, I'm not in that crowd even though being LP's tech looks impressive when hawking gear.
