Cool site with pickups "based on" emg's, duncans, dimarzios. My friend Eric tried the emg copies and they sounded great! They actually seem to have more mids than emg's but are very similar. Super cheap too.
(BTW, I don't think they make any blue pups, sorry caseycor)

Haha, you beat me too it.

I'll have to check the website out, sounds cool to me.

Also, I'ma use this as an excuse to plug Guitar Fetish Pickups again. I love their pickups, and they are cheap as hell. Usually around 40 bucks for a 'bucker. I've got a Crunchy Rails in my Artcore right now, and I love it. Great pickup, especially for the price. I could see myself paying $100+ for this pup, easy.

The "Screamers" (JB copies) are $30 for the set!  Pretty f'n cheap, and if they sound as good as the actives then I'd probably buy a set. Or buy a cheap shredder type axe and toss in a set of the twin blades (gotta be dimarzio copies) and have a beater fire-breather. there's something so cool about cheap superstrats with hot buckers IMO. Maybe cuz you just beat the shit out of it and not care.

I'll check out the Guitar Fetish site too.

Ive always wondered about these for the last few years...

I highly reccomend the GF Pickups stuff man, high quality pickups at super low prices. I've played a few of the 'buckers and the singles, and dug every one.

I'd kill to be sponsored by them

How are those Dragonfire guitar kits? That San Dimas one looks interesting...
