How is your relationship with the guys from Dream Evil?

I am a big fan of their first 3 albums, and was just wondering how you decided to leave?

Hey Rian,

I'm still in good terms and friends with the Dream Evil guys. I mostly keep in touch with Snowy, haven't heard from the others in a while. And of course I've worked with Fredrik on Firewind album mixes after I left DE back in 2004. The main reason was for me to focus on Firewind. While DE was a great band & we made killer records, the guys didn't really see it becoming their full time "job". So I had to make a choice there.
Of course I wanted to be a full on musician and I decided to go my own way. I'm still very proud of those first 3 albums and have great memories from the shows & tours we did.
 
Understand...I did a cover on youtube of "Lets Make Rock," which i think is one of the most rockin songs ever...I love how there is a key change on each verse.

Good luck to you in your future career my friend...well deserved.
 
So that's why the solo in "the book of heavy metal" is so damn rippin! I never put two and two together. Just killer that is.
