If money was no object, what graphics/paint scheme would you like to see on a shredder's guitar?

I've had quite a few ESP M-I and M-IIs that had some cool graphics. Jackson and GMW have produced some awesome graphics on guitars, too. Also painted a few myself that were pretty wild.

Which one is your favorite?

I always prefer asian squid porn graphics:

The finish on that RRV looks like the Caparison Frozen Sky finish.

My favorite graphics were always the one Tolkki rocked on his ESPs:

BAHAHAHA that's hilarious $h!t, lol

Oh, that glowing satch model is sick btw, wow.

Trying to figure out how the Satriani Ibanez was painted. Is the paint ON TOP of the black or were the fluorescent colors painted as a base and then the black applied and then scratched off to reveal the colors? I'd love to see that one in person.

I like how the cross and skull Charvel incorporated the pickups in the graphics. Very clean looking.

I always liked Amir Derakh from Rough Cutt's fighter plane graphic Charvels and Jackson. That was such a cool idea especially since his dad was a fighter pilot in the Iranian air force before the Islamic revolution.

i'd be for having Troy Lee do something. like maybe WW II plane art mixed with some of the same era pin up girls.

though the guy that does GMW stuff is pretty damned good!

Here are few of my fav styles...

The uniqueness of the carving, and a few others that I have seen, have always intrigued me.

The idea of using a cloth pattern was a simple but excellent idea. Just to many variations to think of. Now where is that old Hilo Hatti Hawaiian shirt... ;)

There have been few guitars from the early days of rock that had this effect and different approach.

Some of these look great. Can you do this yourself to any ready-made guitar, or does it need to be an unfinished model when you apply the paint?

Would Jackson sell soloists without finish?... That would be a great project.

Of course you can paint any guitar. But just remember that painting is an art form and not for the amateur. I've seen too many disasters where joe guitarplayer tried to paint his own guitar.

Jackson won't sell ANYTHING now that they're owned by Fender. Your best bet is going to Warmoth. A good body and neck can run upwards of $500 real quick, though.
