Seriously looking at this amp. Haven’t seen a bad video but not to much out on them.
What’s your take on it ?

I'll go first...

The clean channel is astonishing. I leave the bright switch on because I like that "sparkling" vibe, but with it off you get creamy and subdued. I know, sounds like most clean channels would be described, but my opinion is that this one is special. Crank the gain and it breaks up a tad, but not much. Use the boost to get wicked dirty blues.

Channel 2 has a huge range of tones. I don't spend much time on the low gain setting, but you can get a pretty good punk sound using low gain + built-in boost.

The high gain setting is crushing. Around 2 o'clock on the gain knob starts getting pretty saturated, depending on your pickups. However, it stays fairly loose all the way to max. Engage the boost and you're there. Tight, saturated, punishing rhythms and liquid leads. This boost actually sounds pretty unique.

Overall, not as much low end as a Herbert or Rectifier, but with aggressive settings I get plenty. This could easily be a desert island amp. It's the only head I own at this point!

Playing at home through a 412, I tend to have the bass/resonance turned up most of the way. An EQ in the loop will fix any shortcomings. At louder volumes it fills out better. Playing with a 2x12 and you will definitely want that EQ in the loop.

Also, this comes stock with 6l6/KT88. 4x6L6 would probably increase the bass, but I haven't found it to be an issue with a 4x12. I'd also like to hear more opinions on it, but it's a fairly rare amp.

I don’t own one but I would like to try one out for sure. Clips on YouTube sound promising.

Order is in on a custom Driftwood Purple Nightmare. Pretty stoked about this amp. Red Dragon Guitars is taking care of it all.

Nice job!!! Report back once you've spent some time with it.

I used to drive through Scranton every weekend for like 3 years.
