What can can you tell me about it? Pros/Cons?

I will be pairing it with a high output full sized bucker in a modified American Strat

I think it's a cool pickup when used in a fairly balanced sounding guitar. I once tried it in a bright sounding Superstrat and it really didn't work out great.

Tonewise it sits somewhere between a singlecoil and a low output humbucker. Ideal if you want something that doesn't 'quack' like a singlecoil, but isn't as thick as a humbucker :)

Have loved it for 20 years in my rich! Neck is nice and woody great for leads...

If you want to alter from just a H/S and go to H/S/S put a Vintage rail in the middle and that really sounds great.

i like it, goes great with a hot rail in the bridge

I've had a Cool Rails in the neck of my mahogany HSS superstrat for about 20 years now, pretty versatile pickup. I have a switch to toggle between series and parallel wiring for some nice dirty rhythm or blusey soloing tones. I have a JB in the bridge as well and the two pair up well volume-wise.

I have an ESP M-1 (1990/1991) with a JB in the bridge and a cool rails in the neck, perfect combo in my book. It's hard to describe but the cool rails is just what I was looking for. I switched out from a hot rails which was like having a 2nd, hotter humbucker up front lol.
