Folks,
I'm looking into a new pickup set to install on a Carvin 6 string guitar that I have coming my way in a few days. The guitar has an ash body, walnut top, maple neck and fingerboard and also has a hipshot bridge.
Given the body/neck and fingerboard woods in the guitar, and the fact that I play 80's heavy metal and progressive rock music, which pickup set would you recommend, Duncan Pegasus/Sentient or Dimarzio Crunchlab/Liquifire?
