Hello guys , anyone of you tried this strings ?
I'm want to tune my guitar to Eb , I figured that something about 10-48 will be great, and boom ! I've found Heavy Cores Heavy which are 10-48.
What can you tell me about them ? Good strings ?

I like them. I don't use them because I use a wound 3rd - but I tried them and they are well balanced, feel great, and seem to give a little more umph than other strings of the same gauge. Worth trying.

Really nice strings, jimmy Dunlop spared no expense setting up his winding factory, muse got like 80 of the worlds best winding machines. They are great.

nice strings, ive used them a few times and thought they sounded good.
my only issue with dunlop is the strings didnt last as long as some of the other brands ive used, they became dull sounding quicker.
maybe i had some bad strings, has anybody else had this problem.

It all depends on the alloys used and your own acidity. All strings have different lifespans but yes I feel these do not last a very long time. Fine for me as I always like fresh strings.

They're all I use. Best strings Ive found. Love em

This  best strings ive come across been using dunlop's since they came out and switched over to the heavy cores when they started them

My understanding of these Heavy Core strings are that they maintain higher tension when playing in drop tunings, nobody mentioned that in previous replies....so they may or may not be what you want.

I honestly couldn't tell a bit of difference between the heavy core strings and the normal Dunlops of the same gauge. I dig Dunlop strings though.

I have a question on this. I've been using Ernie ball power slinky's for a while now 11-48 and I'm almost wanting to go up a little but I'm thinking a 52 is a bit too big. I'm wanting to try heavy cores but not sure if I should get the heavy's or heavier. Im guessing the 48 heavy core should be less slinky than the E ball 48. I tune standard, drop D, and sometimes 1/2 step down so needing a little more tension

I bought Heavy set (10-48) for EB tuning on 25.5 inch scale and it's perfect for my taste.
My first thought was that there are too much tension but after a day or two I become accustomed to that.

I use the 10-48's for E,Eb, and drop D,Db on 25.5 scale no problems with tension.
I use the 11-50 set for D/Drop C on 25.5 scale and like the tension from those as well

Guyz , do you really feel that this heavy cores really have more tension than other strings ( despite string gauge )?
Cause I'm bit confused :
I tuned to D standard on 10-48 (Heavy) and I thought that strings will be like a floating pasta (25.5 scale) but ... damn they feel so comfortable to me right now !
