The nice folks over at DV Mark sent me a KT88-powered Triple 6 (the very amp that was used in the Guitar World review and the new Greg Howe artist video) to play around with along with a DV Mark 4x12.

NO boost was used. Gain on channel 3 is at 10:00!

I think it sounds great!

Id actually like to hear that amp with a TS in front. I think it would smooth out the tone a bit (just something that I dig...yup.. I like boosted amps :D )

I noticed you used a lill less gain than you normaly do but sounded great...

I will be sure to have at least one Triple 6 video with a boost. Sounds like there might be alot of DV Mark stuff in my future. But thats all I can say at the moment. :D

I've been wanting to try one of their 4x12s. Keep meaning to bring my amp to GC in Seattle since they're the only ones that have one. The thought of a 47 pound 4x12 just seems fantastic. Of course I have to love the way they sound too. So far for me, V30s are king.

Video sounds really good. Definitely different than your others tone wise. As always killer though.

The current stock speakers sound close to a Celestion G-75. But I will be working with them and giving my opinion on some speakers that are in development that are much closer to Vintage 30's.

Thanks for watching guys!

I love their 4X12. The head is okay too but, what really impressed me was how good the 4X12 sounded while weighing the same as a 2X12. You did dial in a good sound out of the Triple 6 though.
