This isn’t supposed to be pretty, and I dig it like this! Gt75 IR, 57/421 combo. IR is dead center on the cone for both mics, much like they did during this era of 90s metal. Ironically it’s not crazy harsh, just brutal sounding to me. Did a big cut around 6k which helped with that. Morin modded Marshall, boss medal zone for a boost, Keeley modded. Gnarly!

One of my favorite songs of all time too!

I absolutely love that Morin modded marshall, always sounds killer. Something I dislike about "modern" marshall derivatives, and im sure you guys will know what I'm talking about, is that they're always too "nice." Too polished, too smooth. Which I'm sure works for youtube, but it doesn't work that well for an original, killer rhythm tone.

Your morin modded marshall has the organic rawness and personality that's missing from so many of the modern Marshall based amps.

Killer stuff! T75’s need more love, they do something that’s a familiar sound but also unique to that speaker. It’s so common to hear on loads of huge albums from years ago, but things have gradually moved more and more to V30’s so it’s refreshing to hear.

One of my favourite tones ever is Exodus Tempo of the Damned which is Langner modded Marshall and T75’s. Andy Sneap used them on a ton of stuff but people tend to focus more on the V30’s for whatever reason.

I recently moved to old vented T75s for most of my recorded tones, from v30s, and I dont think ill ever go back.

I really liked that. Amazing what happens when the right variables are placed properly together. Nice!

Thanks brother, you nailed it for sure, it’s an absolutely amazing amp. Not a chance in hell I’ll ever sell it, completely irreplaceable to me.

I need to do an exodus style tune, this amp and those IR’s kill for that sound! Now if I can just borrow Gary’s hands…..

Ha I tried coaxing some of his tones before, it’s insane how much his technique is his tone. Making those riffs sound the way he does takes so much work, not easy to play with that ferocity and precision.

I did this kind of tone initially with T75’s, but then did another version with G12-65’s (as the G12-65’s are for sale on my website but the T75 aren’t….). I think Fortin probably has a pretty solid idea of the Langner mods, no idea how much of them deep into his own designs but cranking the presence on NTS was great for that kind of vibe:

EDIT: found the T75 exodus style clip I did, uploaded here.
