I had the model with three p90's...The neck was a little small but very comfortable, had tons of birds-eye. The fit and finish was excellent, the tremolo was REALLY nice, smooth and stayed in-tune as good or better than any non-locking trem I have ever played. It was a solid 8.5-9 out of 10 in my opinion...It was the first EBMM I ever really played for any amount of time and it seemed pretty evident they care about their product.

I only sold it to buy an early 80's Charvel, I would have liked to have kept it. I keep looking at the H-H versions and I bet you will love your when it lands!

You really can't go wrong with any of the EBMM guitars IMO.
What color did you order?

Ohh...and congrats on the killer deal!

my absolute fav guitar shape! can't afford one at the moment and i keep nagging Par Park (sterling by musicman) about a sterling albert lee model...

Very interested in this model. Always wanted to try one but haven't seen one around.

I had a hardtail with 3 P90s. That was before the rosewood neck humbucker model existed. I think I would like this new one even more. But I liked the one I had a lot. Typical great neck. Nice overall feel to it. The body shape is pretty funky but I dig it.

The EBMM Albert Lee is the ONLY guitar that actually makes me want to spend that much money on a guitar. The body looks very cool to me, but more importantly it feels great. The neck is fantastic.

EBMM guitars are generally awesome and I've wanted an Axis for a long time. Specifically, a BFR, but just haven't been able to justify the investment.

The shape you chose is very polarizing. I'm on the :bleh: side of the fence, but it's not my guitar - and my opinion is just north of worthless

Congrats on the purchase. I hope you like it.

Cheers

I got the Sunburst, it was only $1300

Great deal - you ought to do a video demo through the Friedman when you get it - your demos are the bomb brotha!!

My Albert Lee HH is just an amazing guitar. It has become my main stage guitar ever since I bought it last summer. Very versatile and super easy to play. The neck profile is very very comfortable and the indian rosewood neck is just ridiculously awesome. I'm hoping to get another at some point down the road...maybe even one of the single coil or p90 versions too!

Always loved the way the neck feels to me. Almost seems like the perfect neck profile for my hands. I dont own one but every time im at guitarcenter and i pick one up the neck just feels right to me.

I have played the p90 version and the humbucker version and they were both great guitars.
