Got a EBMM HSS cutlass. I know of a couple guys here that have had them. Incredible feeling and playing guitar.

My dilemma: I just can’t get on with a middle pup. As much as I try. I friggin hate it.

for those that may know…Is there a Tele that will compare to feel and playability?

Can you just sink it as low as it will go?

I used one a few times to demo pedals at at GC. It’s what they had on the stand. Gotta say it was not bad at all. The neck was very playable. Actually left feeling more impressed by the cheap, string missing, demo guitar than any of the pedals…lol
What’s a pedal, demo guitar without a broken string? ?

3/6 Edit…..just realized the one I tried was a Sterling, when the OP is talking about U.S. made. I was still impressed.

As was said, drop the middle as far as it will go.

Or have a custom pickguard made and just remove the middle pup. Heck if there is enough room you can just hide the pup in the cavity and wouldn't even have to rewire. There are custom guys out there.

If you love the guitar don't let the middle pup stand in the way as you have options. Besides my favorite pickup config is single neck, humbucker bridge.

There's the EBMM Valentine which is vaguely Tele-ish.....pretty cool guitar but the Cutlass blows it away in my opinion

Just drop the middle pickup of the Cutlass until it's out of your way

Yea…I’ve dropped the middle pup for now anyway. lol. We’ll see how that works for me.

thanks guys.
