'K I did it. So I will set the Hotplate at LOAD then take the line out to the MosValve, correct? Does the MosValve have a clip light to aid me in the line out volume setting?
It's safe to run the Hotplate at LOAD with no speaker, correct?
Do the BRIGHT and DEEP controls still function at the LOAD setting?
Thanks a bunch!!!

Wassup!!

There are a few ways you could hook this up! One is if you have a direct out on your amp, you can take the signal form there instead of the hotplate. I would experiment with trying both the hotplates out and/or the amps D/i if you do in fact have a direct out.
Yes, it is safe to run the amp without a speaker with the hotplate as long as it is set for load and that your amp doesn't exceed the maximum wattage of the hotplate.
I think the Bright and Deep do work when the Hotplate is set on load but you can ask Ed G just to make 100% sure.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that im not sure if there is a clip light on the Mosvalve but its not really necessary because you will definitely know if you signal is clipping or not because you will hear it. That said, I usually send the signal form the Dummy load to an effects processor and that has a clip light on it. I set the o/p there and then end that signal to my poweramp.

I have one of those poweramps.
Sounds great with a tube preamp like a Rockmaster or MP1.

For the price, those poweramps sound quite nice  .

Run the line-out at about 10 o'clock as a starting setting.
Boost switches will work in reverse.
Safe to run on load without a cab.

That sounds like a plan...there's this little italian place around the corner from the convention center I dig.
Do you have my new cell number?

BTW, hear any good EVH covers lately?

I heard one new VH cover but I wasn't sure if the person could hear the backing track because the timing was all out of wack. I don't mean to be rude but I was also wondering if that same person had ever heard the tune before. go figure :hys:
