This guitar sounds incredible! Looks sweet too.

Anyone know what wood and pup were in this model. It's got a Floyd and still sounds HUGE; was the Floyd sitting on the body like an EBMM Axis or floating? I'm gassin' big time for something like this.

I just did a search for "The Loner" as I haven't heard this tune in a long time and came across this vid for the first time and now I have GAS, BAD!!

I`ve read several places that Gary used EMGs in the Charvels.

I did a short search on the Jackson/Charvel forum without much luck; I don't think they archive too deep in their history.

I know he used EMG's in these but it sounds to nice and fat to be an 81.I'm going to go with an 85.

My Musikraft Charvel clone has that type of fat sustainy tone but with a nice bite just like Gary's in that vid.I'm using a Suhr Aldrich pickup in that.
