Edwards ESP guitars

I have an Edwards Sugizo model. I love how it plays but really hate the sound of it through anything other than a solid state amp. I think it has to do with the alder body. It's a s/s/s configuration and I've tried swapping two of them out for a JB jr and a Hot Rails but no luck, still can't stand the sound. But overall it is a sweet playing axe.

I've owned 2 of them. One was a huge piece of shit, and one was awesome.

After shipping you are over $800 for a guitar you have no idea how it will fit your style and have possible re-sale issues.

I see very nice ESP M-IIs selling here and HC over $8-900.
