Anyone else notice the difference in neck angle between a LP and a Edwards LP? I just got my Edwards E-LP-130RE yesterday and had a bit of time with it, one thing I noticed was the angle the neck was at and how the bridge is so much higher than a LP. For some reason this makes a huge difference in how resonant the guitar is when unplugged. The playability is also much easier as well.

One thing that feels weird is how light this guitar is   I've always hated how heavy LP's were but man this thing is light and it just feels weird because I've been used to picking up a LP that would break my back

The bridge feels alot higher on the Edwards to me. My right hand didn't get along with the one I had, that's why it is gone. I loved everything about it but the bridge.

I have no problem with the bridge since I don't rest my hand on it, but so far I am digging the LP-130

Thinking of swapping the knobs for speed knobs though

Yeah most stuff I play requires palm muting so it was kind of awkward, I believe that all LPs should have speed knobs.... Well except a Sykes model.
I have been wanting to try an Agile. I have a suspicion that my wife may have got me a 3100 for our anniversary.
