Anyone know what effect they used during the intro and throughout on the clean? Sounds like a phaser, vibe, chorusy something or other. Something from Maestro?

I haven't figured out the youtube thing to have it show up within the thread so here's a link to the song.

Thanks

I think a Flanger/Phaser for the intro and verse bits and an E-Bow for the solo.

To me it sounds like phase set pretty fast and lots of reverb. You can hear the phase clearly on sustained notes and chords as they ring out.

Yes, a univibe.

Hey Aristocrat, I think the song predated the ebow a bit.

Wow, I would've never guessed that!

Leslie would be my guess?

Could a vibe get that swirly?

Anyways, love Naz and Manny's playing!

That said, please don't cover that tune!

They've got like 20 albums, pick anything but that song!

I haven't heard that song in years, but probably a tremelo. Not sure what affects were on the market back in those days - not much selection for sure.

Check with James Lugo. He's the resident Nazareth expert.....
