Dr. Raymond Stantz:
You know, it's just occurred to me. We really haven't had a completely successful test of this equipment.

Dr. Egon Spengler:
I blame myself.

Dr. Peter Venkman:
So do I.

Dr. Raymond Stantz:
No sense in worrying about it now.

Dr. Peter Venkman:
Why worry? Each of us is wearing an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.

When I bought caps for the GNR mod, I knew it would be a good idea to buy a ton

I am liking the EG3/4 X. I think if I only played by myself at home....I might keep it stock...but with the band, I think I'll be heard better.
Really, I find it kind of Marshally with bigger low mids.

Now, I don't think it does the JCM800 thing as well as the SL2 or SL2X. You guys? In fact, I think I prefer the SL2 stock. I think its cut is fine. I actually found the EG3/4 needed the additional presence and cut, for me - not the SL2. That is like a smoother Marshall, fine by man. The EG3/4 gets the growl and upper mid award....plsu as you said it is still thick.

By the way, my EG3/4 X is a touch different. It has the upper mids but the highs or treble are not as....high, LOL. I have a slightly different cap but I think it is a minimal difference.
