Egnater M4 midi switching line 6 xt live

Hey all.

Curious if anyone has tried to use the line 6 xt live as a midi foot switch for the Egnater M4 or Randall RM4 to switch amp channels?

gonna give it a shot tonight, wanted to know if I am going to waste my time.

I'm assuming it should send PC's.

My Digitech RP-10 could send PC's.
