I ended going back to a Marshall to get some meatiness. I've heard someone call the Renegade's dirty channel "boring" and in some ways I agree, but I guess that is going to depend on what you want it to do. The longer I had it, the more I missed the Marshall growl, but I always go back to a Marshall.lespaul3013":1z2uopau said:Awesome...I was planning on boosting it with my OCD, maybe that would help...

Very Warm Pleanty of Meat And Punch... (I don't know what the other poster is talking about).
Not a Marshall sound... No A 6L6 in there... Very much like John Sykes 87' WhiteSnake Sound... I use it for a practice/bedroom amp... But with that cab I don't think it would have a problem at a small gig.
Highly Recommended Especially for the price!![]()

they dont like celestion 75's too much....didnt sound good at all with them to me. more V30's based i would believe.

My only gripe with it is that I find the Presence/Density and Normal/Thick/Bright switches a bit pointless. I always have the P and D set to 0, and never use the bright or thick settings. It would be awesome just as a 2 channel amp with no bells or whistles. That said, its one of my faves and the Tube Mix option is FANTASTIC :-D
