Einstein volume

Hello,

I apologize that my last post was 09/19.09, but when one is using a Einstein, it is hard to do anything else.
I had a problem with my volume the other day. I heard a small pop and the volume went to zero. No matter how high
you turn it up. I replaced the power tubes with no difference. Could anyone give me a hint as to what to look for?

Did You replace the tube fault fuses ?

Bingo! Thanks a million. Would you know what would cause both to fry black? Could have been a surge. I don't play it loud.
Any thoughts on what to avoid would be appreciated for sure. If something were to happen to Einey, I don't know ........

rrrajo, if a tube goes out usually it will fry the fuse with it. I would assume a power surge or unstable power would be the primary cause to blow both fuses at the same time. I would recommend a voltage regulator if you're using unstable power often.
