eleven rack...advice

So I sold a Marshall amp KK. Really interested in eleven rack.diezel Herbert n Dar Forza are my main
amps,however I'm lookin to have a smaller go to rig,heard some great clips,hoping it'll be a nice addition...I only use a couple effects so they r in it as well.wanna get some great metal tones...disturbed5fdp,
 
Cujo....Go get that bitch tomorrow.....And bring back that EVH special in black for me :D

By the way, that is not me in the video. I saw that clip when I was searching clips awhile back.

I'll be really interested in what you think of the Eleven Rack. That system and the Axe-FX, I just can't get a solid feel if I'd like it. Just seems like it is one of those "on the fence" pieces of equipment. Then again, what amp, etc. has EVERYONE ever liked?
 
Glad you got it! It's a fantastic unit....even better with the expansion pack! I actually sold my Diezel Herbert & cab as I really don't have a need for them at this point and I really wanted to simplify things.
Great tones and effects and easy to use and program.
When I do my odd live gig (I'm working in the studio much more these days for a rather larger animation company) I run it through an EV-SXA250 powered wedge and it just slays! I run a Ground control switcher and a Mission expression pedal with it.

The best thing about it is that it doubles as my Pro Tools interface as well.

I would be really interested in the Eleven if I could find some decent sounding clips of it to reference off. To me, the clip above sounds no better than a pod....digital, nasal, sterile, brittle, very harsh top end. The demo clips on the Avid website sound great but I have yet to see anyone on youtube come close to those sounds? What gives?

With the Axe FX I've seen plenty of great clips that would give me confidence in getting one but not yet for 11R
 
Dude I ran it thru a crown amp...no good I was like Wtf? It didn't sound like this at store ,then I ran it thru the power section of Dar....holy smokes it came alive..everything on it sounds amazing..responds like a real tube amp, I figured when I unhooked it n ran my Dar I would be dissappointed in it ....not even close.the eleven is truly amazing....wonder how new update is? Now I gotta dig in deeper...I couldn't get my line 6 expression pedal to work? Wrong kind?
 
where do you buy these eleven rack's at ? seems kind of interesting to run in between my mak4 i have coming and the power amp, for effects and such. i am gonna have to do some reading up on them.
 
Available online...I drove to a musicstore that has them so I can try b4 I buy.alto music middletown,ny is where I got mine.799$
 
Does anyone have the new updates? I wish they had a diezel model.however I will not sell Herbert!
 
The new update is smokin the Bogner Models are amazing as is the SOD model that they created those 2 are perfect for more modern metal tones, Havent messed with much else model wise since i got it
 
Need a MIDI controller,a good tube power amp,n a pedal for wah...I hooked up line6 exp pedal it ain't working,I did the set up? Is it wrong pedal?

I think it's just a Bogner Ecstasy model. They should have added a Shiva or Uber as well. People seem to dig the speaker breakup feature as well. If you ever run it direct to you PC try using some IRs instead of the built in speaker simulation. The amps sound even better !


Also, could you tell me how you set up your 11R through your DARs power amp? I have never gotten great tones through my JVMs power section.
 
The Dar has its own aux input...the eleven sounds brutal! I wanna pick up a mesa power amp they r really nice tube power amps.
