I have a small collection of speakers, but I decided to put a Super V in my Stone Age 1x12 cab fully closed back and was amazed how good it sounded. This speaker is going to stay in for a while...

Guitar>cord>Amp
El Cap in the loop.

I only hope this speaker resurfaces in the EMI line up as it is a fine speaker IMO...

Sounds

I think that amp sounds fantastic

and some tasty chops there dude. Awesome !

Amazing. What are the amp and the guitar?

Guitar: Suhr Standard, Mahogany/Maple, HSH, DSV/V60LP/DSV+, (Pull tone knob to split both Humbuckers)

Amp: stock Carol-Ann OD2100-EL34

Cab: Stone Age 1x12 (Three back panel, but closed with this speaker)

I have two of them in a 4 x 12. It is a great speaker. Tight without being spikey, very crunchy but also punchy. I don't think I'll ever get rid of them they are great. I can only imagine what two of those paired with two lynchbacks might sound like! Hard to believe you are getting that tone out of a 1 x 12? That is tone bliss...

Nope.. around the 115-135$ mark depending on where you got them at the time. I'm in Canada and with shipping from a local dealer I think they were 153$ with taxes and shipping. They are discontinued now though but I recently so 2 for sale for 150$ barely used. They come up in classifieds now and again.

Hello Carl! That sounds really good and the playing was very tasteful. Where is your pedal board?

Oh, well that's not bad.

Sounds really nice

I'd like to try one of those amps at some point.

Hey Mark! Good to see you post! No more pedalboard. I still have it, but I doubt I will use anytime soon. I have gone retro...

The amp just sounds better guitar>cord>amp!

i like em

supposed to sound like fanes

they smooth off some of the top end and have a solid bass.

i have a quad in a hiwatt cab.

Anything lynch puts his name on is more than likely amazing. He knows how to design some gear.

Surely you mean that sarcastically, right? :gethim:

I believe George has a pretty good ear, but designing? I don't think so... :jedi: :force:
