So I was thinking about selling mine which is in my boogafunk 1 12. I decided to crank it up to basically as loud as my power amp can push it, and once you are pushing a good 100 watts to it the sound changes completely, and it starts to rock!!!!

What I am wondering is once these are broken in do they sound good at lower levels? I am thinking about keeping this cab that way once I get a band together I will have a small cab I can put my rack on, and get extremely loud. My boogafunk is extra wide to support a rack. Also since it is a cheaper cab I won't care if it gets beat up a bit. On the other hand I do have some scumbacks on their way for my buzzbomb.

Wow, I am a bit shocked that there are no replies to this. Oh well. I did a high volume comparison between the Delta Pro 12A, and my buzzbomb with an ET65, and earcandy greenmachine, and I preferred the buzzbomb, so I will be unloading the Delta Pro.

I still can't wait for my M75 LHDCs to come in!!!

i have always been real curious about those. heard they were emi's answer to the ev12's.

They have a more mid-low tone than a EVM12L.
Good speaker but still misses the real mojo and clarity of the real EVM12L.

I had one that I used in a Thiele with my Mark IV...great speaker and I preferred it over the EVM. It was a little bassier with smoother highs. I always ran it in tandem with an open back 1x12 though...

I have been finding that I like speakers that have more crunch to them like greenbacks ET65s etc. I am hoping that the Scumback M75 LHDCs will be just what I am looking for out of a speaker. I agree about the clarity since it is very bassy. It would probably be killer with in a thiele with a bright speaker in another cab to add cut, and clarity. I have never felt the floor shake as much as when I was pounding that speaker with 100 watts!!
